Improving Our Community

At RS Business Machines, Inc., we strive to satisfy our mission statement of “being an active participant in our community” by working with local charitable organizations. Whether it’s donating school supplies, raising money for various charitable organizations, or donating a little elbow grease, we are consistently striving to better our community.

This holiday season, the staff donated time and money to an Adopt-A-Family program. With the help of local community leaders, we were able to identify and help two very deserving families in the Sandusky area. Members of the staff generously donated their time and money by purchasing Reverse Raffle tickets at our annual Christmas party. We all had a great time strategizing, shopping, and gift wrapping to make this Christmas the best it could be for each of the families. It also enabled us put our priorities in perspective going into the holiday season, focusing on what is really important—helping others.

For our next community project, we are excited to announce that we will be working to benefit the Erie County Humane Society. Many of us here have pets, and they are near and dear to our hearts. Working with Erie County Humane Society will enable us to help a much deserved organization in the area. This is just another way our employees are working together to make a difference.
